Travelling Route

You may wonder whats this blog about… If you really do, youre strange, as the title says everthing: Globe Crossing!

We are two girls – Eva and Mona and we decided the 09.09.2008 to travel around the world.

The idea came generally from me (Mona ). I was thinking about doing a Master or something like that, but then after Eva came home from her vacations in Ireland and told me about people who did already a worldtrip . I started to think about that (I was at that moment in Switzerland). I liked the idea and it became clearer and clearer to me, that this is the thing for me. So I wrote a SMS to Eva: “I am serious about the worldtrip – Lets do it!”. Eva came to visit me for a weekend and brought many atlasas with her . We talked the whole weekend about nothing else and decided that we need a date to take the decision: the 09.09.2008 was our choice! One month thinking about the wheres, the whens, the hows etc.

About one month later the 09.09.2008 I called Eva and after smalltalk she said: “I think yes!”

So thats how it started. From there on we started to plan everything. The most important thing was of course our route and it took us about 3 months to decide where to go and if its possible – which are unfortunatly not the same

Well, just to let you see, what didnt worked out in order of importancy for us: Vancouver, China, Mexico, Southafrica, Columbia etc.
